Shofetim 9:45-47

⁴⁵ And Avimelech fought against the Ir all that day; and he took the Ir, and slaughtered the people that was therein, and destroyed the Ir, and sowed it with melach (salt).

⁴⁶ And when all the ba’alei migdal Shechem heard that, they entered into the stronghold of the bais el brit.

⁴⁷ And it was told Avimelech, that all the ba’alei migdal Shechem were gathered together.
